Do you have in it????----A view

Note : All the things published out here are not to criticize anyone...All info provided is a view of one guy whose identity is unknown but he works for the army.

The heading is a tag line i think is known to most of u ppl.....Its seen most of the times in the employment news and recruting ads....

This is the punch line for the army of india...........

which most of the persons in us aspire to join. The army is a place presented in the movies as a hero standing on the hilltop glancing at the scenics,A group of friends reading each other letters and discussing their happinesses and their memories in the life.A nice chef providing them providing them with the qualitative food and free wine all the time..And a very cooperative offficer on the top who respects the hero.......But all of my ideas about the army on shattered when i had chat with a army guy from gwalior regement whose identity is unknown to me...But i just wanted 2 share the thinkgs i had known from him after i read article in the newspaper about the commision to investigate the atrocities on the lower cadre officials by the top cadre.

I started asking him a question that u might b njoying ur time bing in the indian army and enjoying all the previliges of the jawans.....He said instantly 'no'...and said who knows what goes inside the army......He said its not like a movie with hero having nice time out thr....A lot is thr unknown to the outside world....
I asked u ppl might b having nice cuisines out thr..He said no...the food suckss big time...no spicy things out thr as they will increase the impatiences of the person.....and chichken will be servedd only 3 times a week
The next queston is about the holidaying...He said thr are very less...I dont properly remeber the number but very lesss....He is goin now home for 10 days by breaking out a fingure..

Shedule he told 2 me so far is

4 am ---wakeup
6am ---jogging with 5kg boots and 5kg dress ...have to go **km in 25 min.
7:30 --- Bfast

I asked i think ur day will b over then...But he said no...torture starts now

They keep u busy all the day making u do small works that are of no use....U cant even bath without their permission..Each and every activity inside is controlled by the upper officers....ur eating ur sleeping and even ur cleanliness.[If ur room is not found clean,You will b immedately asked to clean all the area ,even if its midnight]...one looses the individuality inside thr...they will make u a co.If u ever turnaround on them they will post u to the border areas ...
Even the control is to tis much high extent. that your wife also has to obey to the orders of the superiror officer wife in the family welfare meets...She asks her to sing ,she should...Else the oficers will scold you not your wife...
The other thing is u cant even get out of thr when u want to...bcoz u ll b in a bond wid them for 15 years when u join the indian army...
No ONe is thr 2 care for u..The pressure from the upper officials is mounted on u all the time...This thing is leading to depressions in some soldiers leading to their suicides...He quoted me a eg of some lieutenant who commited a suicide recently bcoz of torture.......i asked wheter he will leave it after 15 yrs..He said who will take us ?? v ll hang out here only waiting for new prmotions....noone out here is gonna leave...............

He then ill prefer this job to only those who have no other chance...

With indian govt spending suchhuge bucks on the defense ,They should atleast care for the base of the army.,The soldiers who fight for the country...provide them the personal freedom they want...tHe facilities provided rock but dont torture them as u provide he facilties....

THE it u have in ur tag line shound be

courage to defend the country
Bravery to fight the enemy
kindness to help the needy
pride as part of the indian army

but not

frustratiion
Impatience
depresssion

Photography...courtesy-meee

This post is just to share to you people what things im using to post the pics in the blog...The pic above shows ma partner cam....nikon coolpix 4600..Below given is the full review of nikons lower end digital cameras cool pix 4600 and cool pix5600

Two easy-to-use compact digital cameras that make shooting more fun and convenient!

TokyoNikon Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of the COOLPIX 5600 and COOLPIX 4600 — two new digital compact cameras with impressive image quality and packed with enhanced in-camera features that are easy to use, making them ideal for beginners of all ages.

With a comfortable grip, the COOLPIX 5600/4600 make the user feel at ease and ready to shoot right away. There’s also a range of features that enable beginners to start producing pleasing shots with confidence. A newly designed Graphic User Interface (GUI) allows the user to select functions by either name or icon. A handy “Help” button explains each menu function. Furthermore, both cameras display the menu in a choice of 11 languages. The COOLPIX 5600 and the COOLPIX 4600 feature a large, bright 1.8-inch LCD monitor that makes it easy to compose shots and to view the results. In addition to making operation even more convenient, both cameras have been designed to consume significantly less power — enabling the user to shoot almost twice as many shots with alkaline batteries, for example, in comparison with other entry level Nikon digital cameras.*

The advantage of 5.1 and 4.0 effective megapixels resolution enable the COOLPIX 5600 and COOLPIX 4600 respectively to deliver high image quality exceeding that of most entry level digital compact cameras. They also feature the advantage of a 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens — combining the freedom to compose in different ways with high-quality and reliability, and meanwhile supporting macro shooting from as close as 4cm (1.6 inches).

Furthermore, the COOLPIX 5600/4600 not only allow the user to achieve truly pleasing quality with minimal preparation, but they also stand apart from other cameras in their class with the handy ability to automatically improve the quality of recorded images with the touch of a button. Nikon’s exclusive D-Lighting function, for example, can be selected in Playback mode — automatically recovering and compensating for insufficient flash or excessive back lighting in order to obtain balanced exposure throughout the frame. Nikon’s Advanced In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, on the other hand, has the ability to automatically detect and correct red eyes in-camera in most situations. Both cameras are additionally equipped with Blur Warning, which alerts the user when a shot is compromised by camera shake, allowing another shot to be taken to achieve the optimal result.

Designed with a new high-density integration of key components, the COOLPIX 5600/4600 have been created with compact dimensions. They are also lightweight and easy to carry, making them even more attractive to the day-to-day user. To make operation even simpler, the COOLPIX 5600 and COOLPIX 4600 feature the same handy Scene Modes that have made the COOLPIX lineup such a success and four of them also feature Scene Assistance, enabling virtually anyone to achieve better composition. Scene Modes are easy to use — simply select the mode that most closely fits the subject, such as Sunset or Portrait, then leave the camera to select the appropriate settings automatically. The COOLPIX 5600/4600 also feature an entirely new “Underwater” Scene mode, which produces more satisfying, true-to-life colors when using the optional WP-CP3 waterproof case to shoot scenes while snorkeling or scuba diving. This exciting new addition increases the choice of handy Scene Modes to 16!

A choice of five Color Options allows the photographer to have more fun with digital photography, enabling them to select one before shooting to change the entire feel of a shot by making it sepia or black-and-white, for example. The COOLPIX 5600/4600 also have 14MB of internal memory, which enables images to be recorded without additional memory media. What’s more, they are compatible with SD cards, which enable a large number of shots to be stored and are widely available for purchase.

The COOLPIX 5600 and COOLPIX 4600 make it easy to capture action in an expressive manner with movie shooting capability. Both cameras offer a choice of three different movie modes — TV, Small and Smaller — and the COOLPIX 5600 has the ability to capture video with sound. They can also be easily connected to a TV, making it simple to share the results with friends or family.

Printing is made easy with the COOLPIX 5600/4600. PictBridge compatibility makes it possible to print directly to a compatible printer, without the need for a PC. Both cameras come bundled with Nikon’s own PictureProject software, which is user-friendly and offers a broad selection of versatile functions.

* Under CIPA-compliant test conditions, the Nikon E5600 and Nikon E4600 can shoot almost twice as many shots with alkaline batteries as the Nikon E4100.

Both cameras are compatible with the new dedicated waterproof case, WP-CP3, available as an optional accessory, offering sub-aqua shooting at depths of up to 40 meters.

Sales release schedule: Both cameras as well as the waterproof case, WP-CP3 are scheduled for release in February 2005.

Note: Specifications, design, product name, standard accessories, and release schedule may differ by country or area.

Instant messaging

I think this is my first technical post...i LL get started with my reviews on instant messenger....I use a lot of messgnrs...

GTALK ::
I think its the best of the messengers for slow connections..and the most widely used in corporate eonnections where ppl get drastic speeds...
Gtalk has a voice chat feauture along with its less graphic interface..It never creates load on ur system..but it will for sure on the web server..It has high refresh rate and nice encoding for its voice chat application.Voice goes clear over it most of time.google has been trying to change its interface by adding feautures like file transfer, voice mail, avatars which it lack from other messenger..Al though it wasnt upto expectations of the geeks on google..Its the best for slow net connections unlike yahoo..The next post i think will b on yahoo..]
Gtalk gets reviews of 3/5

Train jOUrney @ India

a TRAIN journey @ india can be best xplained by a journey from south to north where u can come across different cultures....First of all lets get stated qwith my journey right from my home this summmer
I got into train round 9 in the night...I started 2 chek the surroundings in view of the mumbai blasts...I found a sealed cover beneath my seat...im frightened until i confimred form others that its of the person on upper berth..............Then night went on/...
The next morning i found that the ppl with whom im traveling are tamilians...Completely worried myself abt their neatness and the way they r gonna b with me for the next 24 hrs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I kept myself silent for the next 2 hrs..but sometims they tried 2 interact with me and i had 2 answer to them with common sense rather than language knowledge.. and i thin i had managed it pretty well... Round 8:30 i started having ma breAKFAST.....suddenly that tamil ppls travelling broker came with idli for them and dropped their pickle on my plate...I felt happy for their kindess to others
But to my hurry i found hats pickle is nothin but squeezed tomatoes....I got angry and throwed my bfast away....The guys who skept in the upper berh came talked for 10 min adn went to sleep again...Again i have 2 spend my time with tamil kids
I got scared and went to my fren to pass time with them...but with the fear of ma articles i came to my seat again..and this time the tamil old ,ans started talkin to me...He is illiterate so far i can infer after the joruney...but he tried 2 act as a iliterate infronbt of hus tamil gang and he asked me a question with foul smell coming from his mouth [Most of tamils dont use tooth brush they prefer tooth powder] Is BSNl better or nokia better?? Man i got completely angry with this question and i was cntrlling m anger....His questionaie was totally 2 hrs in journey with some gaps ..........Frustated myself started 2 wander in train comprmtnets where i can see a lot of ppl with differnt cultures... some saints...some sikhs.. and some muslim troops...every group has their unique feelings.........and I n the night i had 2 eat in the train...They give u a half boiled rice with some unboiled burries for a shitty 37 rs..i Bet if u eat for 5 consecutive days ull die got sure..that how indian railways food is
And i had 2 sleep at 9 pm as the tamlians r oldies and they foreced me 2 sleep at 9...making me wakeup at 4 in the morning from where i reahced noida
