Is there any internet user in the world that don't use Google ?? No will be the answer . Google is into your life in someway or other . Google always creates some pages and logos for different occasions which we leave unnoticed most of the time . But most of them are really cool . I found some of them and Im posting the links here .

How to add recent comments widget to your blogger blog ?

Wordpress people has got a lot of plugin's in their box but what about users who created their blogs on blogger ? Im very glad to see the work done by people to create those plugin's for Blogger users . Earlier I wrote about How to show backlinks to your posts in blogger which is replica of track back in wordpress .Now I found a widget for blogger users which is replica of Recent Comments widget in wordpress .

Go to this site. There you will see a form .Choose the number of comments to be displayed and the size of comments . Click apply and add the widget to your blog . If you are still using the old interface of blogger , once the page is directed to " add page element " , click on Edit content and you can get the source code which you can paste in your page template .

How to set your Gtalk status as idle manually ?

Gtalk is one of the widely used messenger services these days . Most of the people like it as it connects in even very less network speeds . When I was in college , I used to use this a lot . Unlike yahoo , one cannot set their status as invisible or idle . I don't know how to go invisible on gtalk , but I found a software which can set your status to idle on gtalk .

The software is gAlwaysIdle

Download Galwaysidle .

After installing the software you can see four extra options in the right click menu of your gtalk symbol in system tray ." Normal Idle " , " Always Idle " , " Never Idle " , "About gAlwaysIdle " . Set your status to which ever idle you want after seeing the descriptions below .

- Normal Idle : - let GTalk decide when to set your status as idle
- Always Idle :- Set your status as idle permanently
- Never Idle :- Prevents your status from gettng to idle .

There are some bugs in this software while running with Vista according to my friend Tilak . Lets see whether they might fix it in their next release .

Is Google going to let you connect with Other IM networks ? Gmail 2.0 news

The answer may be yes , says Google System blog . Google has recently rolled out extra space , IMAP Support and they are even going to release a new version of Gmail which will load faster .

The Google system blogger found out some other interesting things which are :

• colors for labels
• Detaching messages from a conversation
• and connecting to other IM networks like AIM , yahoo ...... through Jabber protocol .

Wikipedia says as follows about Jabber transporting

"One of the things people like about Jabber is that you can communicate with users of legacy IM services like AIM, MSN, ICQ, and Yahoo. Unlike all-in-one IM clients like Trillian, what makes this possible in Jabber is a piece of software called a gateway (or "transport"), which runs in conjunction with a Jabber server such as jabber.org. "

Being able to connect multiple messengers can really boost the number of Gtalk users . Gtalk can then replace Multiple messengers like pidgin . Right now people has been using third party servers which require some little work to configure . But going through these servers is not comfortable with everyone , and that’s where Google’s can turn them on ..
