How to creat shortcuts for folders and assign a hot key to them ?

Some folders like your music folder and movie folders are accessed a large number of times. It might not be that much easy to navigate through my computer every time when you wanna open that folder. What if you can create a shortcut of the folder or you have a hot key to open your common folder ?

Techbuzz has a solution for this question.Follow the steps below for doing it.
  1. Select the folder for which you want to create a shortcut.
  2. Now Create a shortcut, and place it on the desktop. (You can create a shortcut by opening the folder, pointing to New on the File menu, then clicking Shortcut. Drag the shortcut to your desktop.)
  3. Now Right click the new shortcut, and then click Properties.
  4. In the Properties dialog box, click the Shortcut tab, and in the dialogue box, enter a Control key combination [like Alt + s +Ctrl] which you want to assign to the folder and then click OK.

Normally I create a shortcut folder in my documents and I store all other folder shortcuts and my program shortcuts. You can select whats good 4 u :)
