Some folders like your music folder and movie folders are accessed a large number of times.It might not be that much easy to navigate through my computer every time when you wanna open that folder.What if you can create a shortcut of the folder or you have a hot key to open your common folder ?
- Select the folder for which you want to create a shortcut.
- Now Create a shortcut, and place it on the desktop. (You can create a shortcut by opening the folder, pointing to New on the File menu, then clicking Shortcut. Drag the shortcut to your desktop.)
- Now Right click the new shortcut, and then click Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Shortcut tab, and in the dialogue box, enter a Control key combination [like Alt + s +Ctrl] which you want to assign to the folder and then click OK.
Normally I create a shortcut folder in my documents and I store all other folder shortcuts and my program shortcuts.You can select whats good 4 u :)
