How to restore desktop icon text transparency in Windows ?

Normally text of the icons on your desktop is transparent.Sometimes when you change your desktop’s settings, background or enable active desktop, the label texts of desktop icons lose their transparency, resulting in a nasty look.So what to do when your icon text lose their transparency???

Here’s how to restore the transparency of icon text:

* Go to Control Panel and click the Sytem Settings icon
* Navigate to the Advanced tab in the dialog and click Settings under Performance
* Check the option that says Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop

Now enjoy watching your beautiful desktop with no stupid background for text of icons. Thanks to Shankar.
