How to ask Google to reconsider your pagerank when pagerank crashes ?

This post is in view of the recent pagerank drop by Google . But don't worry it's not final . You can file a reconsideration request via Google webmaster tools . File a Reconsideration Request to Google only if you believe that you did not sell any text links and your site is compatible with Google webmaster guidelines .

Google Webmaster tools is one-stop shop for webmaster resources that will help you with your crawling and indexing questions, introduce you to offerings that can enhance and increase traffic to your site, and connect you with your visitors. If you have never signed up there, you must verify your site. In webmaster tools you can find a form to submit your reconsideration request.

Ask for reconsideration of your website only when it has violated the webmaster guidelines as by asking for reconsideration , you acknowledge that your site violated Google quality guidelines in the past, and you have fixed those issues now thus by abiding with the Google's quality guidelines.

After filing the request just sit and wait for some weeks . Google will reply if you are genuine. This is the only official way contact Google . One of my friends , Mr. pchere from QOT did this and he got his pagerank set right .

I suppose when you say when pagerank crashes I assume you mean you have lost your rankings. Yes, first clean up any mess in your backlink profile where possible, make sure there is nothing that fails webmaster guidelines on your site, check redirects and 404s, and then submit a request for reconsideration within Webmaster Tools. We deal with this quite a few times with potential clients coming to us they are not coming up for their own company name from a previous seo company. For more help try our seo services.
